Nel Mezzo Del Cammin is the name of business I created to be the container for all my projects from now on into the future, the other "half" of my road through life. Currently, my main project is to be the best medical student, best resident, and best physician I can be. I am too busy right now to work much on other projects.

But every now and then, I need to take a break from my studies and do something else for recreation. These are my current works in progress. I do with them what I can. Someday, I shall have more free time, and I shall then return to them and finish them. I never give up.

Writing Well Is For Everyone, a textbook that teaches people how to teach themselves to write well. This text can be used in the high school and college classroom, in the corporate world, and by individuals.

Movies Are For Everyone, a textbook that teaches people how to appreciate all kinds films by referring to films that come in an accompanying set of DVDs. This text is in response to all those condescending pointless introductory film texts that refer the readers to films that they have likely never seen. What a silly idea! I think that the best way to teach film is to ask the student to watch and read about good films that they would like to see, perhaps films that they have already seen but can see again (and again and again), and learn to appreciate without the jargon-filled, bombastic blithering of some fuzzy-headed pseudointellectual getting in the way. Makes sense to me.
